Well this just makes the 5th year option pretty much useless now, if players know they can just hold out until management bends
Some players are more important than others too ... As Aaron Donald last year and Zeke this year(I know he is not important and at the level of Donald but still the best RB in the NFL in the last 3 years) ... Players like Gordon, he can stay at home if he wants!
15 million per year is a good deal for both side, so the Cowboys can live with it, especially since Zeke did not want to reset the RB market at all cost, as it was the case for other players ....
Do they have cap room for average Dak and Amari now?
Always a better chance to be in a list like that with less game than all the others and you've been a number 1 RB since day one, but still a great start for Zeke.
The deal is done!
Now the question is if Zeke will play Sunday
If I am the Cowboys, I do not play Zeke, since with 3 only practices for Zeke,no way,he will not be ready and it would not be smart that Zeke plays this game, not only because he is not in football shape right now and also it would be way too risky that he has a serious injury because of that.
I believe the Cowboys can win against the Giants without Zeke.
Dak will probably be the second to have a 100 million contract with the Cowboys....
Who is the next?
Haha...Very funny!
