Belichick has lost that locker room, obviously.
But I thought this just didn't happen to other NFL teams? I mean how will they come through this distraction? Surely they are predetermined to lose now.
If only they had a "Joe Greene" type in the locker room this wouldn't have happened. I can't wait to see Rod Woodson's opinions on this.
I wonder if he will get the Josh Gordon rehab plan?? (Reinstatements, suspensions, etc)
The difference is that the steelers had drama almost every week in the last few years ... Of course stories like that can happen at every team, but when it happens often (drama) it's not easy for a team to manage the distractions
Also, I never blamed Tomlin for the Bell and Bryant suspensions or even the Bell holdout, since it was not of the Tomlin's control ... But a HC can control what happens in your locker room and even in the social media (especially during the season) ... Happy right now that no player of the steelers has said a stupid thing on twitter in the last 3 months.

If you want to hang out, you've got to take her out...
When your day is done, and you want to ride on...
She don’t lie

She don’t lie...
I thought the culture in the Patriots* locker room was so so daggum awesome, and they would never tolerate this kind of behavior.
I mean, where does this end?
the next thing you know, the Cheatriots owner will get caught having sex in a massage parlor.
oh wait...
The rumor:
The cops were at Chung's house in the Lake Winnipesaukee area because his burglar/fire alarm went off. While there they apparently observed a controlled substance, cocaine.
Was Chung there? No one has said.
How much cocaine? No one has said.
Gee, that could only happen to a bad person.
At least this is not longer a problem for the Steelers.
Lots of coke in the NFL.
All Defense!
Like every other controversy the cheats have had NOTHING TO SEE HERE.
I'm Patrick Chung, BITCH!
Too bad that Chung didn’t beat his kid. Then, this would simply be swept under the rug.
Maybe Chung and Kendricks can party together?

Just more to support all teams go through this. Just heard about it more with Bell and AB because they were stars in real life and fantasy football.
To be honest, it's a little different ... A coach can not control players 24 hours per day .... Like I never blamed Tomlin when Bell and Bryant had suspensions .... But you can be cautious during the draft in drafted good character guy.
Teams like the Bengals in the mid-2000s under Marvin Lewis had had an off season with 10 arrests or something like that, it was out of control! ... But that's not the case for them.
I can not blame Bell's situation too much on Tomlin because it was not of his control (especially for his contract situation or his suspensions), but in Brown's situation, AB had way too much freedom in the locker room..same for other players and the locker room became toxic afterwards and it was just a matter of time before the steelers implode ... It was one of my big concerns during the season last year.
AB was likely given a great deal of freedom because he was so ludicrously productive. Think of Keyshawn Johnson, Michael Irvin, and Randy Moss. All those guys got to play under totally different rules and expectations than the rest of the roster. All those guys eventually wore out their welcome. All those guys ended up in the HOF.
Same deal with AB.
Randy Moss, Chad Johnson, LaGarrette Blount. Free agents signed with poor character traits. Aaron Hernandez, Patrick Chung, Tom Brady. Players drafted with what have become questionable backgrounds...murderer, drug cartel, womanizer. Kevin Faulk, Willie Andrews, etc...it' pretty long list. Robert Kraft, himself and his situation. Bill Belichick is a known cheater on multiple occassions. The Patriots have one of the worst records in the league at judging a persons "character". Their coach may not tolerate it, but they are definitely not a good judge of character when it comes to that issue. Maybe it's less than average, but it's far from perfect...
