    Same deal with AB.
Keyshawn Johnson is not close to being a HOF and I would be very surprised if he is going to be a HOF someday .... Gruden put Johnson out the door in the middle of the season in 2003 when he had enough!

I admit I do not know much about Michael Irvin's situation but I think his problem was outside of the locker room ... Troy Aikman has said in the past that Irvin was a very good teammate ... Randy Moss, when he was with a HC that was respected (Dennis Green and Bill Belichick) and that the locker room had good leadership, Moss was fine ... That's when his HC was incompetant (Mike Tice, Brad Childress or the two HCs who had in Oakland) that Moss was a problem.

For Brown, it was a big mistake to give Brown too much freedom ... You can not do that ... You can not allow a player to think bigger than the team, otherwise it will always end badly. ..This player must always be disciplined, no matter what ... It's in hindsight, but Tomlin had made a big mistake when he gave only a $ 10,000 fine to Brown after the live facebook ... Especially there were rumors in the media that Brown was running the wrong road intentionally during the season (I think it was in the game against Miami in the regular season and maybe some other game) and you can not accept that!

But I have hope that Tomlin will learn from his mistakes

Bill Belichick is a known cheater on multiple occassions. The Patriots have one of the worst records in the league at judging a persons "character". Their coach may not tolerate it, but they are definitely not a good judge of character when it comes to that issue. Maybe it's less than average, but it's far from perfect...
Good point, but they have an HC who are able to control that..When his players were with the Pats, they were not a problem in their locker room and it never became toxic ... Also they did not pay a big price (whether this is a high draft pick or a big contract) to have his players, outside of the Aaron Hernandez that it was a major mistake for the Pats to give a big contract to him after only 2 seasons.

Says the guy who comes to other message boards to rant about the Patriots...

...I guess we have been warned. Stay in our lane. Stick to the Steelers. Make Boston Great Again!

Cocaine for everyone! As long as it is only a little bit and you help win games!

I never said a word about AB while he was a Steeler. Get over the Patriots locker room and worry about beating them on the field.

Oh poor Tommy boy, pouting because he comes to a Steeler site and they don't bow down to his over glorified team. Here's a novel idea for you...don't like it, Leave.

And I didn't say a thing about the Patriots and even if I did, who the hell are you to dictate rules to posters on a message board? It is a thread specifically devoted to talking about the Patriots and recent drug-related issues some of their players have had. What else should I talk about?

I mean I could start with how little I think you know about football, how small an amount of respect I have for your intellect or opinions, the general crappiness of Massachusetts and Boston in particular, or my favorite recipes for roasted chicken. But I figured I would color within the lines and stick vaguely to the topic. But again, what do I know?

Belichick doesn’t control it at all. He has a very short fuse and rarely tolerates it and for that I have mad respek...but he doesn’t control the initial problem. Look at all the “mishaps” under his watch...hell...he was even part of it.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to say...I just badly explained that....As in the Super Bowl against the Eagles, Belichick had benched Butler for an incident during Super Bowl week ... It was the thing to do if Butler had not respected a team rule

NFL suspends Lance Kendricks one game

Posted by Michael David Smith on August 24, 2019

Patriots tight end Lance Kendricks will not be available for the first game of the season.

The NFL has suspended Kendricks one game for violating the NFL policy on substance abuse, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. He’ll miss the Sunday night opener against the Steelers in Week One.

It is very logical that a Taperiots fan would be hanging around.

You seem to worry a lot about Steelers fans. Kinda like you wish you were one...you know, one of those fans that has been rooting for a winner for more than just a decade or so? Maybe rooting for a team that doesn’t have an * Next to their name?

I've noticed a particular pattern for some time now.

Specifically, one of the "unwritten rules" of being a Patriots fan seems to be trawling the web for even the most insignificant slight regarding their team (real or imagined) and then making a point of loudly protesting it in the most obnoxious manner possible, usually on other teams' message boards.

Douchiest fanbase in the league, bar none.

The only decent Patriots fan I have ever run across in all the years I have been perusing message boards was "The Patriot." Every other one has been a complete asshat, without exception.

Please, I've been polite. The fact is you drafted a bunch of assholes and you didn't have the coaches, or the locker room, to handle them. If it makes you feel better to 'yah but look at the Patriots', have it. It's BS, but go ahead, lie to yourselves.

    We did. Last year.

And technically, the year before that, too.
Seems to me, they should be worried about beating us.

Re: Patriots’ Chung facing Belknap County drug charge

I honestly don't care about what drugs players choose to put in their bodies during the off- season. If Chung wants to poison himself and ruin his life, sucks to be him. I also don't blame the organization for not keeping him in check. Belichick isn't his daddy, and he's a grown man. He's free to make his own dumb decisions.
*Having said that*... I've never understood trolls who frequent other teams' message boards to stir up s*&t. "I think I'll go somewhere nobody likes me or wants me around and make an ass out of myself". What's the point of that?? Is it just attention- seeking because nobody likes them in real life either? A missing chromosome that stunts their ability to not be a jackass? Do they actually believe that this childish behavior is somehow helpful to their team, or is it simply stupidity?

Me personally, I'm leaning towards 'stupidity'... But I'd love to hear others' thoughts on the matter.

    Best,
    -Slashy

*Having said that*... I've never understood trolls who frequent other teams' message boards to stir up s*&t. "I think I'll go somewhere nobody likes me or wants me around and make an ass out of myself". What's the point of that?? Is it just attention- seeking because nobody likes them in real life either? A missing chromosome that stunts their ability to not be a jackass? Do they actually believe that this childish behavior is somehow helpful to their team, or is it simply stupidity?

Me personally, I'm leaning toward a regular poster on this board pretending to be a Pats fan. When I see these guys pop in I automatically just put them on ignore. Could be the "444" means his birthday April,4 2004 which means people are arguing with a 15 year old. Either way it is I don't care enough to read a single post. And there's NEVER a point with these guys.

So are you confirming that you are indeed an idiot, or is there some other reason you're choosing to *act* like an idiot? Considering the fact that you considered your last response 'clever', I'm leaning towards the former...
Perhaps the Dunning- Kruger effect is at work here and you're so stupid you're incapable of realizing it...
