Well we either have to reject PFF scores (Dobbs) or accept them (Layne) can't be both!

Yeah. I can see that. I don't think that PFF lost all credibility, but I have little interest in debating or even bothering to understand their grading system.

OK, so how are we rejecting PFF grade on Dobbs? Are we using the "eye test"?
By my eyes, Layne didnt get a lot of snaps against the 1's and I saw a lot more of Sutton, Burns, Allen out there, so its a smaller sample size. Layne played OK against the reserves and he is on the 53 as his red shirt season at this point.
BTW, I love how we challenge a statistical grading system by the almighty PFF in their grading of Dobbs with something so unquantifiable as our "own eyes". Its just brilliant.
