    In the players or coach that the steelers lost in this off season, Sarrett probably has the biggest shoes to fill,but let's hope he learned a lot of Munchak during his 5 years together and that his players have confidence in him.

    If I have to bet, I do not think Hawkins will make the team....

    – Jerald Hawkins is really struggling out there. Kinda hard to see. Either he’s not at 100% or he is as healthy as he’s going to get and it’s just not going to be good enough. Unless this is just rust, which it doesn’t feel like it is, he’s not making the team.

    Which really sucks for Hawkins. He had a lot of promise his rookie year, injuries held him back.

    Wonder why they have not tried him at guard?

    Jerald Hawkins is rough. The injuries have absolutely hurt his development as a raw guy coming out, but I am just not seeing. His technical ability is a mess and he’s not getting to his spots like he should. It’s an uphill battle for him.

    Alex Kozora
    @Alex_Kozora

    Coaches asking OL Fred Johnson to go rep after rep in OL/DL. Doing well. Look well conditioned. Maintaining physicality.

    Tempers flare between Fred Johnson and Anthony Chickillo. Johnson drove Chick to ground. Jaw as teammates separate them.

    Johnson was one of my UDFA to watch for. Could be a sleeper to make the 53, but we'll see when he gets some game action.

    Q: What player has surprised you the most?
    Gerry Dulac: G Fred Johnson. Big guy (6-7, 325), especially for a guard. But uses his hands well and battles.

    It’s amazing that just a few years ago the OL was the weakest and most criticized unit on the team......even more than ST, and now it’s one of the biggest assets.

    Mike Munchak had a big impact on our O-line but I'm hopeful that Sarrett learned a lot under Munchak .... Also we should not overreact tomorrow if our O-line do not look good against Tampa Bay since even under Munchak we have had some problems in preseason with our O-line, especially when it was not our first unit.

    Speaking of an O-line coach from another team, I still can't believe that Tom Cable still has a job after 13 years of mediocrity!! .... I mean, he's maybe worse at his job than Rob Ryan was as DC!

    It's probably an injury,he does not know what he has right now...We'll learn more after the practice when Tomlin goes to talk to the media

    Maybe not since Alex Kozora has seen every practice in the training camp of the Steelers since 2014

    It’s a very random tweet unless you only posted part of a response.
