What I am saying is that your understanding of the average Republican is pretty dated. Religion has not been an important part of it for decades. I can't think of a single election in 20-plus years in which it was anything more than a footnote. The only time it seems to come up is in Democrat fearmongering that Roe v. Wade will be overturned. Then again, the Democrats seem to be perpetually trying to convince people that we're still in the 1960s with race relations and the 1860s with labor relations, and bragging about things that FDR did 80 years ago as if that has any bearing on the bad ideas they are pushing today. So maybe they are just stuck in the past.

The modern state of things is that the Democrats are the party of religion, and their religion is the government. Republicans and Trump supporters are what you would formerly call moderates, who ended up there by default once the crazies took full control of the Democratic Party.

What do Democrats believe in now? Nothing except a Trump boogeyman that they created themselves. I'm not a big religious person, but I'd take Jesus over that any day. You seem reasonable enough most of the time that you can probably think for yourself. You can still get out; it's not too late.

As for the election challenges - either there's something we haven't seen yet, or there's not. It is difficult to imagine they don't have a better plan, given that there were months, maybe years, of advance notice of the cheating and it happened exactly the way we all knew it would. Whatever happens in the courts or the political process, there is little doubt that it happened. Being happy that it's going your way is like being proud of punching yourself in the face. Except that in this case, it affects more than you.

The only positive thing about this successful coup is that the American people who voted for Sleepy Joe and his puppet masters (I'm talking the legal votes not the millions upon millions of fraudulent ballots) are going to screwed over for their vote. They get to lay in it the bed they made. They get to experience what they voted for. Unfortunately the rest of America has to pay for it as well. Also none of the Biden voters will actually ever feel buyer's remorse about it. Someone with more money and power will tell them Sleepy Joe is doing a great job and the country is better off with him in charge (even as China rips off the US again and the recent economic upturn turns into a sharp decline again) and they'll believe it.
