What has happened to the presidency is that liberals constantly throw emotional temper tantrums over superficial nonsense, and hope that others will confuse that with some actual failure of policy or results.

At this time four years ago, I was undecided about who or what was going to be the best for the country, but the Democrats have been outright disgusting since then and have never let up. The smug liberal on the internet is the most effective pro-Trump campaign message in the world. Yuck.

What happened to the Democratic Party? It has become a hybrid socialist party. There have been 2 extremes that we have witnessed in OUR limited lifetimes on this Earth. The extreme far right Nazis and the extreme far left socialists/communists. Neither is where any of us want this country to go. I do not believe either side of the aisle wants either extreme but both point across and scream the other wants this extreme. I live in a 'RED' state and no matter how I vote this state and it's electoral college votes will go to the right. And I honestly believe that is the correct way for it to work. The majority voice decides the overall direction. But this election seems to invite division however it plays out. If Trump wins we get a continuation of the current state of divisiveness. If Biden wins we get the same divisiveness but from a different angle, and still nothing "REAL" actually gets done to move the country forward. Good luck to whichever 'side' wins and maybe you will use some of your new found electoral power to do some good and not further divide the American people. But for those of you arguing for one side or the other, please just stop, we already know you are all full of shit.

I can only speak for myself,but i am afforded that under the same "Bill of Rights" as every other citizen of this country. When i saw the trashing of private and public property in particular,and who was willfully allowing those atrocities it became clear what was going on was not a so called "peaceful protest" going on .It was not merely a movement for B.L.M. I haven't checked the exact percentage,but i would be comfortable saying 98% of the looting and burning and destruction of property and businesses came from the Democratic controlled Government "state and local". So what does that tell me? It tells me that for some reason or another the democratic party is gravely concerned about losing something.I mean gravely!!! To allow total chaos, including murder in "their", actually the "citizens" cities,because they control the government in those cities,is totally unthinkable.Remember also that it was automatically ok for the relaxation of the lockdowns and social distancing orders placed in effect up to that point by the Governors of those states.Remember that because that is important and can not be discounted for all the lawsuits that i'm sure are out there,but yet to surface.The Democratic sector has got to be held accountable for their hatred fueled devious behavior. I thought they were against all hate and racism and and yet fuel their movement on hatred centered on one individual? Well i doubt it's truly one individual,but they repeatedly mention only one.So in their beliefs,which is a "my way or the highway" mentality. Yeah that sounds good.Give us control over the Nation and we will halt all of our "excused behavior".Then we will talk about the very "sad and hurtful" things that aren't the real issues until you let us take what we really care about.Yeah,the d's really make it easy to decide where my first vote ever will be cast.

Honestly, what they look like to me is a group that got started as an attempt to address a legitimate grievance, namely police brutality. (Whether the picture of police brutality is/was accurate, or deliberately inflated, is an open question, but separate.) But since then, it has been taken over by so many different interests that it is unrecognizable. Everything from general Democratic Party fanaticism, to social engineering, to blind racial and class-based anger, to Marxism, and even complete tangents like environmentalism. All of these interest groups saw an opening to loudly promote their causes, using black people as a human shield.

It appears that the people drawn to the current iteration of BLM - the ones who are promoting these "reach goals" that have taken over the group - are overwhelmingly of other races, and are overwhelmingly using the message of "defund the police" as an attempt to pry loose more funding and support for their unrelated social engineering causes.

No, really. In 2016, it was about holding police accountable, now it's devolved into a shitshow of "more funding for this cause" and "more funding for that cause," none of which could actually be funded to any meaningful level by reducing the police budget, even if it was reduced dangerously.

In other words, now it has just become a mob that has lost its sense of direction, and the original message has been completely drowned out by Democrat talking points and blind hate.
