Le’Veon Bell Sees ‘Opportunities I Never Had Before’ With Jets After First Practice In Which He Was ‘Looking A Bit Lost’

The Killer Bs era will go down as the most disappointing era of Steelers football. There were many worse Steelers teams, sure, but a team with this much offensive talent crapping themselves over and over again was painful to watch

Bell left the Steelers to play for the Jets for less $. Pure genius.

LOL saying and doing are 2 different things. He shows me a whole lot of concern when he misses practices with a new coach and a new team and a new system.

I will say maybe both him and Antonio have CTE, because their actions don't seem like they are all there.

Le’Veon Bell loses more than $500,000 in jewelry heist

Posted by Mike Florio on June 5, 2019

Jets running back Le'Veon Bell apparently has plenty of jewelry. For now, he has more than $500,000 less of it.

Via the Associated Press, two women allegedly robbed Bell of a more than a half million in jewelry last month.

Per the report, two female acquaintances — described in the police report as girlfriends of Bell — absconded with the jewelry. Bell claims that he returned from the gym on May 25 to find the women gone, along with the jewelry.

The New York Post reports that Bell claims to have lost via the theft two gold chains with diamonds, a black panther pendant with black and white diamonds and a Rolex. The total value amounts to $520,000.

    I'm sorry, but I can't help it:

To be honest. I have to ask myself, what kind of a clown would I have been if I had had that kind of money in my 20s?

Robbed of $xxx, xxx in jewelry. Did I not say EXACTLY this was going to happen.

It might have been in an AB thread, or maybe both, I can't remember. But really, same guy, different names. It's up to the other one to get into a 2 a.m. altercation outside a nightclub with shots fired now.

He has missed some of the OTA's so hard to show how committed you are when you don't see a sense of urgency after sitting out a whole season and signing with a new team, coach and system.

Those are voluntary. There’s plenty of players around the league every year that miss those for whatever reason. Should he be there? Probably. Does that mean he “missed practice”? No.

A player should be there when you're new to the team.

Voluntary or not it is still practice. So yes he missed practice it just wasn't mandatory. New system, new coach and after sitting out an entire season, call me crazy, but not a good way to show your commitment.

I won’t argue that. When he was missing practice in Pittsburgh I preached that...when other players missed the OTAs I said they should be there...

Yes he’s missing time with his new team, but it’s voluntary. He’s not technically missing anything that he’s supposed to be attending.

Yes it is voluntary, but Bell has a) sat out an entire season b) gone to a new system that needs to adjust to him as much as he needs to adjust to them. Voluntary or not it can only help if he is there now. The only thing about Voluntary is the team can't fine him for not attending, it doesn't mean it's not important.

Yes he is missing something he is missing an opportunity to learn a system. He is missing a chance to earn trust not only with a coach who doesn't think he's worth the money he got, but also with his new teammates.

I am not sure how you can say on one hand that players should be at OTA's but not apply the same logic to Bell.
