The New York Jets are hosting Kentucky EDGE Josh Allen on a pre-draft visit.
A few weeks back, ESPN's Rich Cimini reported that most NFL teams believe the Jets will draft Allen (6'5/262) with the 3rd overall pick if they aren't able to find value in trading down. However, it's been reported that the Jets "badly" want to move down to get back some of the draft capital used in last year's trade. If the Jets stay put, Allen is a fabulous consolation prize, as he's a high-upside prospect and fills a team need.

in our best attempt to get to the Steelers' pick at #20, we are hurrying through these early picks.
Josh Allen it is, da Oakland Raidahs are on the clock...
The New York Jets hosted Iowa TE Noah Fant on a pre-draft visit.
Fant (6'4/249) would only be an option for the Jets if they moved down from their 3rd overall pick -- that's something they "badly" want to do -- because their next best pick is No. 68 overall. It seems very unlikely that the Jets end up with Fant because they probably wouldn't draft him inside the top-12 and it's rare for teams to move that far down in the draft. However, the team who does select Fant is getting one of the most athletic tight ends of the decade and he has two years of nice production despite only being 21 years old.

Jets will probably move down but for convenience sake I just went with Allen
I went with Josh Allen. He has the potential to be a very disruptive player that also has very good versatility and athleticism. I think they take best player available with most potential impact.
