Mayock: Steelers reached out about Antonio Brown after Bills trade collapsed

The Raiders were believed to be a contender for receiver Antonio Brownfrom the moment the Steelers made it clear they were moving on from him. But the Raiders wisely were coy, resisting making the first move — and as a result pilfering him from Pittsburgh.

Boy, that makes us look like idiots.

Like I said at the time, the minute you sabotage the trade we made at your request - no trade for you. I am not picking up the phone, you are on your fucking own. Can't believe we would be so sickeningly obsequious. I mean, at that point, even if you know he's going to go mental and get suspended or thrown in jail, he can do that as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers and get us some of our cap space back.
    See you Space Cowboy ...

The Steelers botched the AB trade so badly and really most of the offseason
