Speaking of “families” and “Game of Thrones”, I’d say that the Steelers are the
Starks.
Dan Rooney is
Ned Stark. The most respected man in Westeros/NFL, and his death left the family in disarray.
Ben is
Arya Stark. You never know which Ben you’re going to get. He’s a chambermaid, then he’s a warrior, and sometimes he’s No One.
AV is
The Hound. The giant who looks scary as all hell, but protects Arya.
Ramon Foster is
Brienne of Tarth. Again, a (gigantic) protector of Arya... only, not as scary.
Pouncey, DeCastro, & whomever plays right tackle are all
Jalen H’ghar. Again, a protector of Arya... and, he’s like three different people.
James Conner is
Sansa Stark. He has been through so much, but keeps fighting through it all.
Ryan Shazier is
Bran Stark. Ouch. (Too soon?)
Jesse James’ touchdown catch is
Robb Stark. Al Riveron is the embodiment of The Red Wedding.
Artie Burns is
Rickon Stark, because he can only run in a straight line.
Belichick is
Cersei (Lannister). Cold-hearted. Vindictive. Lies, cheats. Would kill her own family in order to achieve power. And, even more cunning than her father, Tywin (Bill Parcells).
Tom Brady is
Joffrey. Yep.
Le’Veon Bell is
Gendry. Long ago, he left on a form of water craft, and nobody really cares about him... until someone brings up his nane, and we are all like, “Oh yea... I had forgotten about that guy.”
So...
Who is
Jon Snow? Is it JuJu? Is it TJ Watt? Is it Mike Tomlin?
