If you're not in the system with a previous strike they don't test you in the offseason. They all get tested sometime in May. So if you're not a previous violater of league policy on recreational drugs you can get as stoned as you like from the end of the season until mini camp.

I think the NFL only test for recreational drugs between April and August...or that's what it used to be.

April 20th used to be the first day...ironically...
