Okay. Maybe. But, Sean McVay is no Darrell Bevell.

Meanwhile, Brady’s Achilles heel is pressure up the middle. And, last time that I checked, the best interior-pass-rusher in the NFL plays for the Rams.

    SUMMATION:
The Taperiots are going to have to commit to stopping Donald. Duh. It’s what Belichick does: take away your best player. That said, as I’ve already mentioned, the healthier that Talib is, the more that the Rams defense can play man... which leaves an extra defender available to pass-rush. Couple that with an extra lineman needed to stop Donald, and voila! the Rams will get pressure on Brady.
Odds Suh gets ejected at some point?

I think the Pats will break out a Bill Parcells style game plan with Sony Michel in the Otis Anderson role. Billy B will just add one modern twist -- instead of milking the clock, they are going to run a crap ton of plays on offense and run the ball out of 2 TE sets. That should both slow the pass rush down with actual blockers and eventually just gas Donald, Suh, and Fowler. Then the Pats will try and hit play action to Edelman and Gronk out of it. It is essentially the same thing they did to KC.

I have no idea what they are going to do on defense. Not that smart.
I'm just not sure the run will be as successful. This is not a lousy KC front

You know, I almost posted something about that (after my summation).

Suh has been a “good boy” for a little while. If Sean McVay wanted to channel his inner-Belichick (Machiavellian methods), he’d have Suh revert back to “bad boy” Suh and wallop Brady really hard. Sure, Suh might get ejected, but Brady would be rattled for the remainder of the game.

And, obviously, Suh would have zero problem with something that dirty.

I hear ya. I would be very surprised if they ejected someone from the SB though. Still...I would put the odds at 70/30 against. Unless he keeps touching the Brady. Then 100% for.

So evidently McVay benched Gurley during the playoffs and no one reported or said a peep about it...lol.

Wait. What? I haven't heard this one. Like benched him because he was injured and not producing or like he is a jerk and CJ Anderson practices harder?

Also, goes to show what the difference is between a team like the Rams who have crap for a fanbase versus having one of the largest in the league.

This is pretty great. The Pats blame Brady's quack trainer for Gronkowski being just a blocking sled that can catch rather than the defense destroying rampaging GRONK of yesteryear.

I bet they cut/trade/push into retirement Gronk this off-season. After they draft both the IOWA TEs somehow.

So basically a winning defense is man jam coverage and just barely don't cheat

Super Bowl LIII will be Bill Belichick's wizardry on defense against Sean McVay's scheming on offense.

What a BS call and shame on the Rams for tackling.

I’m not sure. They mentioned it during pregame and spoke about how good the “culture” is with McVay.

I can’t find anything on it but i do remember watching one of the games and Gurley wasn’t playing much at all.

Pat's have more points than rams DP 1st downs. Rams D wont hold up for 4 quarters of they are on the field this long. Rams O needs to start staying on the field
