I regard most politicians in the House to be too willing to say whatever it takes to get re-elected since they have to run every two years and pander to those who can fund the campaigns
So it is more likely to be someone in the Senate, although they can be just as disingenuous or, as they get into their 80s, simply incoherent (Grassley, Feinstein, Hatch)
I will throw out a name of someone I think is not full of crap who I am not on the same page with politically - Lamar Alexander, who I followed when he was early in his career as Governor and I was going to school in Tennessee

There probably are a number of good governors who actually have to get stuff done rather than just spout talking points, such as Larry Hogan in Maryland, but I cannot claim to follow state politics at all outside of Georgia (which does not have major politicians who are not full of shit and/or should be in jail
