Steelers aren't the only currently underachieving storied franchise that has it rough so far. The Packers have replaced underachiever Mike McCarthy with Matt LaFleur who coordinated the NFL's 27th ranked scoring offense, an offense that averaged less than 20 points a game at a time when the rules are heavily slanted towards NFL offenses. Great hire Packers

Don’t discount the additional valuable experience of being on the offensive staff of the team that blew a 28-3 second half lead in the Super Bowl and being OC for one year on a Rams team where the HC calls the plays

Good for them. I think Mark Trestman for a new generation. Maybe he can relate to all 53 on the roster and lead a group of men......or maybe he is just an OC that only knows QB's and receivers and will be a different version of Adam Gase.

McCarthy had a lousy season before he was hired too. But it's not awe inspiring hire. Pretty weak class this year
