Mark Madden vs. JuJu

Have any of you been following this on Twitter throughout the season?

Mark Madden HATES JuJu... like hates him... like the way that Hitler hated the Jews. Really. It’s surreal.

Every time that JuJu does anything (and, I mean anything), Madden spews some disdain his way.

Most recently, Madden has been getting on JuJu for doing charity work instead of winning championships, specifically citing JuJu’s fumble in the Saints game... saying that if JuJu was more focused on football (instead of charity work), JuJu wouldn’t have “fumbled away the season”.

I’ve had about enough of Madden, but replying to him only feeds his narcissism (and/or his ratings... which seems to be his actual reason for slamming JuJu).

I have noted the anti-JuJu screeds by the Skip Bayless of Pittsburgh sports talk who tried to hit the big time about 15 years ago by hosting the ESPN radio national Sunday morning show and failed. Not to be confused with the time he later was let go from the local ESPN station for expressing the hope a political figure with a terminal illness would live long enough to be assassinated

My guess is the JuJu rants this season are trolling for page hits rather than an old man sincerely having trouble with a young man who does not target his off the field actions to Mark Madden’s demographic group

Indeed. That is how I took it for a while: talking head makes controversial comments about a popular person/player... click, click, click... cha-ching!!!

Agreed the JuJu tweets are vile with what appears to be driving his animosity

But Madden has backed himself into a corner on this one and cannot figure how to get out so he keeps doubling down on a twitter stunt that has gotten away from him and brought out the worst in him (which is awful)

At one point after the Saints game he briefly gave JuJu credit for how he responded to the fumble after attacking him but then reverted back to attacking again rather than admit he is wrong (or to continue with his stunt )

And Madden concedes how insignificant his twitter rants are
