it once was thought on that anything above 50% was an acceptable and perhaps even relished completion percentage , not any longer ...
not to awful long ago 60% was the measuring stick ....
but today as of right this very moment there are 29 QBs in the NFL completing at a clip of 65% or higher ..
in fact there are 9 QBs completing over 70% of their passes about half of them are backups with a limited body of work but still ...
Brees is over 76% and has a HUGE body of work and only 2 int's ( 29 tds )
as the rules continue to change and favor the offense at every turn it is just a matter of time before 80% happens and 70% will be the expectation ......
