    Week 9 Around The NFL

Kinda embarrassing to see all these Raiders players collectively quit on the season...

Nick Mullens tearing them up in a 31-3 game with 17:00 remaining.

Good god the Raiders are so f-ing bad, like it's not even funny. They may win one more game the rest of the year (in week 14 cause we all know why)

Maybe Dah Raidahs didn’t hear that Herbert is NOT declaring for the Draft.

If so, they are tanking for... Bosa???

Tanking is one thing.... just outright quitting is another. All of us fans knew Gruden was going to clear out Reggie's trash, but none of us thought the team would look like this.

Gruden is either that bad of a coach... which I don't believe, or this is the most obvious, on purpose tank job ever seen in the NFL.

Given the crap shoot of the draft (e.g. - Andrew Luck was a generational QB prospect and had his career wrecked by injuries) getting the #1 pick rather than somewhere in the top 5 is not that big a deal. Particularly this year when there is no clear first pick.

IMO silver&black has nailed what is going on. Gruden wants to burn that roster to the ground to bring in “Gruden Guys” and 1-15/2-14 helps get him there

I am getting ready for win #2 to be when the Steelers visit Oakland

Re: Week 9 Around The NFL

Steelers fans know how this works when local college or high school teams tear up the field before the NFL game

After Duke and Miami played in heavy rains at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, there are mounting concerns about the condition of the field for Sunday's Jets-Dolphins game, per league sources....

"The field is horrendous," texted one league source at the stadium on Saturday. "It's a complete s---show."

    The fire sale continues:

I agree that Jon Gruden has been haunted by people saying “You only won a Super Bowl, because Tony Dungy left you a loaded team.” Ergo, Chuckie wants to build a team with 100% “his” players. With a ten-year-contract, he has the luxury of time.

Expect him to trade Carr to the Jaguars for their R1 pick (unless the Jags want to roll the dice with another college QB... since the Jags are on pace to have a top-15 pick). Trading Carr would give Gruden four R1 picks to play with... and I see him using the moneyball technique, and turning two of those R1 picks (the lowest two) into four R2 picks.

As far as “losing in Oakland” goes, normally, I’d have to agree (to a degree... despite my eternal optimism), but this season, Dah Raidahs are not winning another game. Their goal is to get the #1 overall (Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio St.).

Re: Week 9 Around The NFL

Yea..... we aren't beating the Steelers...or anyone else this year. 1 - 15 is the number.... and should be 0-16. The Browns got hosed.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I'm all for trading Carr. He's proven to be a scared player after his injuries. I can't say I blame him, but he's useless at this point. I also have a hunch that he is in cahoots with Gruden on the tank job.

I'll just stand back and see what Gruden has up his sleeve... or not. I'm not sold on Herbert, even if he were to declare. On the other hand, he would be better than Carr at this point. I'd rather take Bosa, but Jon being an offense guy, I have my doubts.

The bears scored 41 points without 200 yards of offense !!!

The Bills are pathetic in offense.Worst offense in the nfl in this decade.
