They are 4-4 this year with a point differentiel of -45!!!!

Last year,Miami was 6-10 with a bottom 5 offense AND defense in points for and againts and even in their playoffs year in 2016,they were at -17 in points differentiel and bottom 10 on offense in yards and bottom 5 in yards on defense.

The other team in the AFC East who made the playoffs outside of the patriots since 2011 was the Bills last year and their points differential was even worse (-57) and they were 26th in yards on offense and 29th in defense ... Ravens and Chargers who missed the playoffs were much better and it's not even close!

Sometimes, the tiebreaker system is terrible in the NFL.

Last year the Titans made the playoffs with a negative point differential as well. The Ravens meanwhile had a similar point differential to the Steelers last year and the Chargers were within 10 points of the Ravens point differental
