    You're laughing.... but they lost on a fluke field goal. They played well in the second half. Are you worried that they will contend for your division in another year or two?

    As many top draft picks as they have they should - the NFL is set up for everyone to cycle through a period as a contender. Myles Garrett is a force and Mayfield may be the real deal if he can get better coaches than Haley and Jackson.

    IMO this thread is a continuation of years of us taking shots at Todd, not laughing at the Browns except to the extent they hired Haley.

    No, not "worried". Worried isn't the right word. If they contend for the AFCN in the next couple years, all I can say is "it's about damn time". It is statistically mind boggling how the Browns have sucked so consistently for so long when random chance would have them at least *occasionally* being decent.

    Todd Haley has twice as much wins as Browns playcaller than Hue Jackson does, and did it in less than half a season while Hue Jackson had two years.

    Of course, those are two and one win, respectively.
