    Byron Leftwich

Just heard on the Rich Eisen show that Byron Leftwich is the new OC for the Arizona Cardinals as of this morning. CRAZY!

I remember Byron Leftwich. A highly touted QB that turned into Ben's backup and then couldn't stay healthy to save his life

Arians is a huge fan of Byron's potential. He is on record for saying he will be a head coach sooner rather than later. An OC position already bodes well, other than the mess that is the AZ Cardinals at this time. I've followed Byron since his college days at Marshall and he's a class act.

Well, Arizona is a sh!t show, so any improvement would be marginal at this point. Maybe Byron can help... I wish him luck.

Byron was an average WB that had some great games. He was a smart QB though. I think he’ll do okay as an OC. Cardinals bald have a nice rookie QB, Legendary Larry and one of the better backs in the league...they can only go up from here...

    Byron Leftwich

Byron and Chuck Batch were perfect as back up/sideline support for Ben’s development. Landry Jones was the same...except he had no on field talent...as shown by the lack of job he holds now...I mean Nathan Peterman is starting games in the NFL...that speaks volumes...

I always like Byron. He had a cannon and was very smart.

Too bad he was a statue and couldn't stay healthy. I think he would've been a very good QB.

Part of the reason he was a statue is he was 6’6” and wore a 9.5 size shoe. He was running on pegs.

What is the over/under on when he goes on the IR? Will he be the first coach on Injured Reserve?

    Best wishes Byron.

Sounds to me that our boys are quite finished growing yet. I know mine eats me out of house and home on the regular. I often find myself saying, "Where is the...." and my son usually says, "oh I ate that dad."
