I've been here for two weeks now (?) and I can already tell you what kind of post this was going to be based on who wrote it, but here's the thing ... he's not entirely wrong.
It's really hard for a twice-alleged rapist to shake more allegations of inappropriate behavior with a woman. Taking her story at face value, it was more than just "straight dude wanted to kiss porn star." I have a feeling this story isn't going anywhere based on who else it involves, but it'll be interesting to see if local Pittsburgh media decides to start asking questions during Ben's availability regarding the credibility of the story. He's already no-commented on it, but if local media is going to grill Antonio Brown about a sideline meltdown one would think that Roethlisberger would have to answer some tough questions about another allegation, right?
Kenny Pickett is who I though he was .. Eagles problem now
Would it really surprise anyone here if Ben actually did make her nervous?
If it happened during the 2016 campaign rather than 2006 it would be a story since Ben is now married and the official party line is that he has cleaned up his act
I am no Ben apologist and have consistently denounced his actions in Milledgeville - if Milledgeville happened today he probably would have been prosecuted, just as the Harvey Weinsteins & Kevin Spaceys of the celebrity world were not held accountable for years until they were.
But rather than an alleged sexual assault this is what we are dealing with according to someone who has a book to sell and would like to get maximum coverage of it
Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, wrote that Roethlisberger requested a "good night kiss," CNN reported. She denied the overture and said he pushed her hotel room door lightly.
"I was terrified. I am rarely terrified," Daniels wrote, adding that Roethlisberger responded, by saying, "'Come on.'"
After she closed the door, Daniels wrote that Roethlisberger "stood outside, not leaving" and knocked several times before, eventually, leaving.

Getting this covered on ESPN and other sports outlets rather than just the usual politics news outlets, by embellishing on her 2011 interview in which Stormy described her interaction with Ben in more mundane terms, advances the goal of max publicity for the book
And that Ben was a jackass who allegedly engaged in improper if not criminal behavior from the time he entered the league through the spring of 2010 is not breaking news
An NFL superstar's repulsive behavior, the ultimate expression of athletic entitlement run amok, has forced even the most diehard fans to question their team and their football faith—and made a small town in Georgia wish he'd never paid a visit.

It is a non-story that will be cranked up like most everything else these days by the faux outrage machine to draw page hits.
Unlike AB's conversations this past Sunday, Ben did not interact with Stormy on the sidelines during the botched 2006 season (although maybe Ben wrecked his motorcycle that summer because he was fantasizing about Stormy?) or miss team meetings on Monday because he was in Tahoe with Trump and Stormy.
Nope - Ben is a 6'5" 250 lb (at least) professional athlete who was regularly drinking to excess in those days
Thanks for the memories
He was in Tahoe and figured he try to see the Grand Canyon while there, can't blame him.
I find analyst69's logic completely sound.
Any person who has made a career out of getting paid to have sex should be an expert on not getting paid to have sex (i.e. the opposite of their area of expertise, much like my knowledge of grave digging or analyst69's knowledge of 'scoring with hot chicks' ), so naturally her discomfort should be considered "proof positive" that someone is a rapist; like a canary in a coal mine. Or whatever the opposite of a canary is, like a beluga whale or a VCR... You know what I mean. Wait... What was I talking about? Oh, right.
Anyway, we can save a lot of time if we just have her hang around potential rapists and see who makes her uncomfortable and who doesn't. If she's nervous, they're obviously guilty so lock 'em up.
I propose starting with people who put "69" in their user names on internet forums. We all know what those idiots are like; socially-awkward creepers who are too immature and stupid to control their base primal urges.

"You've heard people brag about 'being in the zone'. They don't know what the Hell being in the zone is about. I played in the NFL for 15 years and I was only in the zone that one time." - "Mean" Joe Greene on the 1974 playoff victory over Oakland
I should also add an interesting mathematical paradox I discovered regarding this situation:
The Venn diagram of a) people who can read and b) people who are interested in this book does not overlap. The last time this curious situation arose was when Snooki released her book "A Shore Thing" in 2011.

More excerpts from Stormy's book - I know I am supposed to be more outraged about this
"Trump was sitting in a corner with Ben Roethlisberger. Shortly before his twenty-fourth birthday," she writes in previously unpublished excerpts. "They were in mid-conversation, but Trump stopped and smiled at me. He made a kissy face like an invitation, and I just nodded."
She says she sat next to Roethlisberger and chatted with him about winning the Super Bowl, telling him that she was in Detroit when his team won. She mentioned the strip club where she'd performed, and Roethlisberger acknowledged that the club was "really nice."
Roethlisberger eventually asked, "Do you come to Pittsburgh a lot?" Daniels wrote, before the two exchanged phone numbers.
"'Is this your real number or your ho phone?' I asked as I typed. Trump and Ben both laughed, and Ben recited a second number. 'I'm not gonna call you on your ho phone.'
"Trump grabbed Ben's shoulder and leaned in. 'I told you she was smart,' he said. 'What did I tell you about this one?'"

Yawn, that's it?
