    New Targeting Rule

I missed the whole game but noticed in the KC scouting report, should this not be a penalty on Hunt?

Playing Rule Article 8: It is a foul if a player lowers his head to initiate and make contact with his helmet against an opponent. The player may be disqualified. Applies to any player anywhere on the field. The player may be disqualified.

This makes it sound like they tried to carve out an exception for RBs. Although Hunt seemed to initiate contact rather than brace for it...so...ssshhhmmmmmaaaaybbbeee?

    Re: New Targeting Rule

Who knows??? They don't even know... and they make the rules!

Ya know, if there were decisive, cut and dry rules, none of us would bitch every week about what is and what isn't a penalty.... what is and isn't a catch... what is and isn't targeting...etc.... When the governing body can't even decide if the rules they make are even rules, or should be enforced all the time or just some of the time, well.........................
