I'm not sure what game you were watching, but that absolutely isn't true. I think you're taking the first series of the second half and projecting it over the rest of the game. I also think you're confusing QB scrambles with true rushes. Outside of that one series and QB scrambles, the Browns' longest rushes were 13 yards, 9 yards, 7 yards, and 5 yards. Everything after that is four yards or less. Moreover, RBs rushed 30 times, and seven were dropped for a loss of yards. How many teams drop the other team's RB in the backfield 23 percent of the time?
I'm really not worried about our run defense. And, as for 21 points, well, 7 points was Sutton's fault—he got abused on two back-to-back pass plays. And, let's not forget the two turnovers deep in in their own side of the field. No, the story today isn't about a bad defense. It's about an offense that turned the ball over six times and played an entire half as though it were still preseason football.
