That commercial would have been just as great without Kap.

"With love, with patience, and with Faith
....She'll make her way" ~ Natalie Merchant
Remember back in 2014 when Kaepernick received a contract paying him $19 million simply for starting at quarterback on a loaded team for 1.5 years. Also Mr. "Blackballed from the NFL" and Mr. "Sacraficed everything" still got nearly $2.5 million from the 9ers in dead money for doing nothing last year. He lives in a country that allows him to make all that money for accomplishing relatively little yet he wants to complain about US oppression while wearing a Castro shirt.

Nike hung with Tiger Woods when all his other big $$$ endorsement deals were canned - now Tiger hangs with Nike
Tiger Woods responded favorably to Nike's ad featuring Colin Kaepernick that ran for the first time during Thursday night's season-opening NFL game, saying, "It's a beautiful spot."
Woods is a longtime Nike endorser who started with the company on the day he turned professional in 1996.
"I think Nike is trying to get out ahead of it and trying to do something special, and I think they've done that," Woods said at the BMW Championship. "It's a beautiful spot and pretty powerful people in the spot."

Highly doubtful that this is because Tiger is pandering to golf's demographic base that he knows is all in with Kaepernick
Absolutely. Which is why I find the 24/7 outrage industry that social media encourages everyone to operate under so hilarious.
Like how small and uninteresting is your life that you have to burn your possessions in response to an announcement about a commercial you haven't even seen.
Of course this is coming from the guy that has thousands of posts arguing about football and politics on the internet, so maybe I'm not the best judge!
Like Tiger Woods, AB is all in with whoever writes the checks for his endorsement deals
Antonio Brown initially did not seem comfortable answering a question about Nike’s decision to use Colin Kaepernick as a paid endorser and centerpiece of a new marketing campaign.
“I mean, what you want me to say?” Brown said when asked about the relationship between Nike – with whom Brown has a lucrative business arrangement – and Kaepernick, whose kneeling during the Star-Spangled Banner in 2016 ignited a national debate and has left Kaepernick unsigned the past two seasons.
Pressed further, Brown smiled wide and said: “I love Nike. I’m a Nike guy.”
