Colts released pass rusher John Simon.
Cut Chickillo, sign Simon.
David Amerson, CB cut by colts ... talk about a guy miscast .... He is a S that can play corner but he is a Safety..... teams have been using him as a Corner pretty much his whole career .... if we " needed a Safety , that's the guy I would go after but damn we are swimming in safeties this year )

Landry Jones has been cut. Wow
So has Nat Berhe

In addition, the team designated several players waived/injured, including wide receivers Damoun Patterson and Marcus Tucker, offensive lineman Joseph Cheek, safety Malik Golden and linebacker Keith Kelsey. The team also placed wide receiver Eli Rogers on the Reserve/PUP List.
Didn’t think they would have the balls to cut Jones. It was the right decision though after seeing Dobbs play in the preseason. Before the preseason games started, I didn’t think Jones should go but after watching Dobbs and Rudolph play, I think it’s the right choice for the future. Wish Jones the best of luck somewhere.

So it looks like Dobbs will be the new backup. I'm sure he's up to the task.

"You've heard people brag about 'being in the zone'. They don't know what the Hell being in the zone is about. I played in the NFL for 15 years and I was only in the zone that one time." - "Mean" Joe Greene on the 1974 playoff victory over Oakland
Did the right thing at QB. However I did wish they would have cut grimble instead of Hodges
Were the Steelers that impressed by Dobbs, or do they believe Rudolph is the #2 QB?
If they think Rudolph is the #2, then cutting Jones was easily a no brainer.
Allen and Adams are kinda surprising. I guess they try and sneak on the practice squad?

Agreed, not so sure about that move.

That's how I'm seeing it.

That took me by surprise also. I thought Allen really stepped up his game, but maybe they have eyes for someone else.
