Well damn. That is disappointing. I think McCarron has good potential.

That sucks. He reminds f that guy that always had potential but could never see the field. Finally gets out of the shadows of the Red Rifle and now he gets injured...was he on a one year deal in Buffalo?

McCarron signed a two-year, $10 million contract with Buffalo in March after four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. The deal included a $4 million signing bonus, a fully guaranteed $900,000 base salary in 2018 and $1.1 million of his 2019 base salary guaranteed for injury.

Managed to get that after he had to take the Bengals to arbitration after they tried to game the system to keep him from hitting free agency after the 2017 season

McCarron, 27, filed the grievance in November, arguing that the Bengals should have activated him from the NFI list during training camp in 2014, his rookie season. Instead, the Bengals kept him on the NFI list with a shoulder injury and didn't activate him until Dec. 9, and he wasn't credited for service time needed for an accrued season (six regular-season games are needed).

Tough luck on the field since he was on a national championship team at Alabama

Too bad for AJ, but at least he has $4.9 million guaranteed and a hot wife and young son to go home to.

He wasn't going to start anyways. He's looked awful prior to injury.

Regardless he won't be ready to do anything for at least a few weeks. It's not like the Bills were going to the SB anyway.
