Hope they sign him. Would be great to see that franchise try and lowball Tre Boston in free agency and then end up with Mitchell.
Steeler fans talk about "playmakers", "splash plays", "creating turnovers" and Mitchell makes most of his splash plays in the media scrum by some outlandish comment. Yet a lot of Steeler fans really liked having Mitchell in the secondary. I personally thought he was just taking up space.
So they could go from Mathieu to Boston to Mitchell.
That should be fun for them.

Mitchell needs to stay out West. Moats I wouldn't mind back as a good locker room guy especially given our OLB depth but he really isn't a big loss as far as talent goes. Definitely a character loss though.

I’m glad for him.
I think there are fans on this board that think Mitchell wasn't as bad as fans think he is, or they think he was scapegoated for poor secondary play, or they didn't see better options on the team, so they felt he was the best safety on one of the best teams in the league, so he isn't that bad.
Mitchell was reached for by the Raiders due to his 40 time. Then he had 1 good season in Carolina that got him paid in FA by the Steelers and they kept paying him because they were too busy trying to find Cornerbacks, OLB's to address the Safety position. Just happy he has moved on.
I think Tre Boston signed a 1 year deal with the Cards.
