Heal up and get'em next year.

I'm pulling for the Golden Knights. 1st year franchise team and they win the Cup? What a story.
Disappointing loss but hard to be too upset after back to back Cups and the personnel turnover that broke up the 2016-17 champs. Was hoping for a threepeat but unlike the 1976 Steelers or 1993 Pens this team was not the favorite going into the playoffs.
This tweet from a Pens reporter confirms my view the team gave its best but was worn down after successfully running the gauntlet the past two seasons. Assume we will find out if Kessel and Brassard were playing with significant injuries.
One hell of a ride the past three seasons!
Congrats on another great season Pittsburgh!
I hope he does!

Me too - I am a Fleury fan
But from a salary & age standpoint going with Murray rather than keeping Fleury still was the right move even with Murray's choppy regular season + playoff performance. Fleury had his share of playoff flameouts.
NHL would prefer Flower/Vegas get to finals to play Caps for ratings - a Winnipeg/Tampa final is worst case ratings scenario
I'm assuming many Pens fans will be Knight's fans the rest of the way. I know I will. Always liked Fleury.
