Terrelle Pryor A Smart Fit For Pittsburgh

BY ALEX KOZORA FEBRUARY 21, 2018 AT 08:30 AM
On Monday, I’m going to drop my free agency wishlist for the Pittsburgh Steelers aka a list that’s bound to be horribly wrong. I’m going to get a head start on that today with one name: Terrelle Pryor. For Pittsburgh, he makes a lot of sense.

Complete bust this past year. He'd have to be very cheap and he's not going to want to be the #4 WR.

He will no doubt be cheap, and he will not be signed anywhere to be a starter.

There's plenty of teams desperate for WRs that can offer a lot more playing time than the Steelers can though. I really don't see any reason for him to sign with Pittsburgh.

This idea is a little bit better than the idea they had to trade for Dri Archer to take up the KR role...lol. Pryor has a flash in the pan season for the Browns...did nothing before, did nothing after...

If Juju hadn't exploded onto the scene last year I'd say yes. But with Borwn, Juju and Bryant our tiny bit of CAP space should be spent on defense.

If we could have him instead of Rogers or DHB for similar money, I'd call that an improvement. I know DHB has made himself valuable on special teams, but has declined to almost zero as a receiver, so that can't go on forever ...
