Ozzie unquestionably has been great but in recent years the quality of the overall Ravens personnel has been slipping from the previous high standard

Ozzie may have decided it was a good time to execute his exit strategy on his terms, before it was no longer his decision, given this statement from Ravens owner Biscotti today regarding Harbaugh

Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti acknowledged that he thought about firing coach John Harbaugh after the team failed to make the playoffs for a third straight season.

DeCosta has declined interviews with other teams allegedly based on a guarantee he would get the job when Ozzie stepped down - Ravens better hope that guarantee works out better for them than it did when Butler turned down offers because Steelers assured Butler he would follow LeBeau
