Rub some dirt on it...
Awesome! The Lord does hear us when we pray!
"Hopes of returning to Pittsburgh on Tuesday" is the most exciting thing, IMO. Why?
"How long you stay in the hospital depends on how severely your spinal cord is injured and the location of the injury. The average amount of time to stay in the hospital after a spinal cord injury is 8 to 13 days." Link.
I doubt they'd be talking about returning to Pittsburgh tomorrow if they truly thought he was still in danger of a serious injury.
Maddox's hit was pretty scary,too.

I was hoping both teams would beat the hell out of each other last night, but that was scary bad to see. This sounds like promising news. I don't think the Ravens will face Shazier on Sunday night, but that's small potatoes compared to paralysis. I wish him the best for a full recovery.
To Clarify lazy Douchette's tweet, Maddox missed 2 games but was not eligible to play the 1st game back. I can't recall but maybe Cowher sat Maddox an extra game as a precaution and Kordell started and won both games. Maddox then came back and lost that strange 24-6 game vs the expansion Texans.
I guess it's either a spinal concussion or spinal contusion.... The former is best case. Hoping that's the case but in either I'm relieved it's not worse.
Information on spinal cord contusions from Dr. Friedlander, the Steelers Depot contributor.
