Roethlisberger On Bryant: ‘I Think He’s Going To Have A Great Second Half’

After benching wide receiver Martavis Bryant for the Sunday night game against the Detroit Lions, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin let it be known during his post-game press conference that he wasn’t confident that the seemingly disgruntled player would be able to help the team during the second half of the regular season. On Tuesday, however, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisbergergave a much more optimistic opinion of Bryant with the team currently in the midst of their bye week during his weekly interview on 93.7 The Fan.
“Absolutely I am,” Roethlisberger said when asked if he’s confident that Bryant can help the team during the second half of the season.

For some reason I have a feeling that this Bryant thing is going to play out to our advantage in the second half, post season play-off wins and then to the SB. There is still half the season to play and you know the opponents now know that Bell, Brown and JuJu is the power on this team. And there is always the chance of injuries. I can see Bryant getting some periodic action here/there just to get timing together with Ben, and another dimension to the offensive arsenal. And then we make it to the play-offs and SB with a game winning catch in the end zone made by Bryant to redeem his controversial year.....and then released.....like S.Holmes. Like I said, it seems weird to me, but this has been a weird football season to me.

"Nope never throwing to the guy again."

Of course he's going to say the right thing. The real question that no one will know is how is the locker room with Bryant? How are the coaches? Is he going to steal Juju's bike again?
