RG3 was good in 2012 and part of 2013, same as the last time Kaepernick was any good.

I mean, this was mostly a rhetorical question; we all know the answer is that there is a certain element that needs needs needs needs needs to pull politics into every single facet of daily life, and they are very prominent among the media.

It's just ridiculous to me that people have retroactively inflated this guy's ability by about 50 times to push their story, and making it sound like teams are passing up Joe Montana, Dan Marino and QB Bills combined. When really we're talking about a guy who has struggled outside of a couple seasons in a specific system, with a specific coach, on a team stacked with All-Pro talent, several years ago. Which is pretty much the definition of a struggling journeyman. That's dime-a-dozen shit, not a compelling reason to sign someone.

It's also ridiculous for them to be suggesting every time a QB gets hurt that the answer is to sign a brand-new guy in the middle of the season, have him come in cold and just try to wing it. Even Troy Aikman, who I otherwise think is a complete bonehead, pointed this out the other day. Your starting QB gets hurt a third of the way through the season, you do two things, which are hope your backup is good and hope the starter isn't out for too long. Otherwise, you are, by every single account, just screwed.

Wasn't Matt Flynn the next coming of Rodgers and Favre combined when he threw for 600 yards in 1 game for GB? Is he flipping burgers or selling insurance now?

I don't know, but he is definitely a close second behind JaMarcus Russell on the list of "biggest amount of money earned because of one good game when you sucked for the rest of your entire career."

Remember when Wade Phillips decided to start Robosack in a playoff game against a Titans team ranked 3rd in sacks over the much more mobile and much better Flutie? LOL

Kaepernick played well last year while being surrounded by an awful supporting cast(The whole team was a mess. front office, coaching staff)
    1. Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia 2. Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia 3. Maason Smith, DT, LSU 3. Roman Wilson, WR, Michigan 4. MJ Devonshire, CB, Pittsburgh 6. Tommy Eichenberg, ILB, Ohio State 6. Ryan Watts, S, Texas
