I begin to believe that the steelers have learned from their mistakes in the past.
Remember when the steelers kept Dri Archer too long and that Antwon Blake was a starter for the entire season in 2015.
I think it's a thing of the past, since the steelers seem to have understood that you have to play and keep your best players!

I want to believe that Cockrell will not be cut, rather traded. They've got to be talking to every team in the league. There's got to be some interest there. I think the Steelers would take anywhere from a 5th to 7th rd pick. It may be wishful thinking, but there's got to be some takers.

I agree with you. Ward would be a good addition, but who do they cut then? Golden would have to be the odd man out. Is Hagen still practice squad eligible? If not they will surely add another safety after final cuts. Definitely our thinnest position right now.
