Raiders hit on Sea Bass too...wasn't he an early pick?

He was an first round pick in 2000!

Raiders are good at spending early picks on the kicking game...just not good on spending them n anything else...lol.

Jon Gruden has already said(During the Raiders-Texans playoffs games last year) that if the Raiders would have had a 6 round draft pick in 2000, they would have drafted Tom Brady!

The raiders had also taken a very good punter in the 5th round in 2000 too!

Drafting kickers or punters is rarely a good idea. The chance that you get even a decent kicker/punter is probably even lower than by trying out guys from the street. Plus, next to nobody else will do that. That the Bucs drafted Aguayo was totally nuts, because nobody else would have drafted him before the 7th round. Never ever.

Don't forget, Janikowski was the fastest kicker in the draft.

Maybe they should change over to soccer.

Raiders are good now. they have younger Carr at QB and can compete.

Wasn't just a 2nd round pick, Tampa traded up to draft him in round 2(sent the Chiefs their 3rd, and 4th round pick).

Re: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have waived kicker Roberto Aguayo.

If this is a 6 round draft pick, I have no problem to draft a punter or a field goal kicker, but when this is early in the draft this is another story, since you can find a very good kicker/punter , even as a undrafted free agent.

The Jaguars have made the same mistakes in 2012 by drafting a punter early in the 3rd round, when this team had so many need.
