I thought they were going to announce the team was moving back to Cleveland and the existing Browns were changing to soccer.

Ravens are having a bad camp with injuries and the Kaepernick sideshow

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh and general manager Ozzie Newsome support the signing of free-agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick, but have met resistance from owner Steve Bisciotti,..

The Ravens also are interested in bringing in quarterback Aaron Murray

    http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/2...wner-resistant

Aaron Murray is a stiff - good college QB at UGA without the skill set for the pros - if he is brought in IMO Kaepernick definitely is being blackballed

They're having a run of bad luck with injuries in camp this year. No doubt. But get back to me when Cleveland wins one SB. Let alone two.

I know. I was just just making a joke referencing the terrible string of luck with injuries. Almost snake bitten, just like the Clowns. Clearly I failed.

I don't know any Steelers fans that celebrate injuries on any team. Not that there might be some drunk a**hole somewhere in McKeesport, but mostly it's fake news.

This guy is an asshole, there is no *real fan* that wishes injury on a player, except maybe Burfict and those like him around the league. Seems like all teams go through these cycles, it sucks.

I'd rather cycle through season-ending injuries now than during the season. Sucks at any time, but at least now a team has time to deal with them. But it's getting a bit ridiculous.

Is Flaccid even going to be ready for the season opener?

You have to hope he doesn't end up as the next Romo. Back problems rarely go away completely.

Re: more bad news for the Ravens

FWIW Peter King renewed his vows of affection for the Ravens this morning in his MMQB column

Biggest positive surprise of the preseason? Baltimore’s defense. Now we have to divine whether that means anything. But what the Ravens’ first unit-plus has shown is great speed and pursuit, stout run defense led by Brandon Williams and Michael Pierce, and a fairly ancient secondary playing extremely well (47 percent opposition completions and 52.5 opposing passer rating). Shouldn’t overrate this stuff, of course, but the Ravens won’t be pushovers. And Marlon Humphrey, the first-round corner, is not afraid, a vital attribute for his position.

Flacco is on the downside if his backing is flaring up.

The only "good" news is the IR rule has changed now to 2 players can now return from IR. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Re: more bad news for the Ravens

I saw Joe on a M&T Bank commercial last night. That's been it so far.

Truth is, I don't know the truth. I don't know if his back is really injured, or he tweaked it and the decision was made to rest it all preseason and not risk. It will be interesting to see what Thursday's injury report lists him at.

The fact they made no moves to sign a QB gives me some hope. Because Mallet looks like the Return of Kyle Boller.
