I hope in the case of Burns and/or Shazier, we will not have a bad surprise before the season like Dupree last year....

Coaches are notorious for clamping down on disclosures of injuries unless the head coach does the disclosure.
The Steelers are stuck disclosing injury status for regular season and playoff games (and are not real dedicated about that, as evidenced by Bell's groin injury going into the AFC championship game).

They do not have to disclose anything for preseason and usually don't

Here's the list of players who did not participate Wednesday: Cornerback Artie Burns (lower body) Safety Mike Mitchell (lower body) Safety Sean Davis (undisclosed) Cornerback Senquez Golson (hamstring) Cornerback Cameron Sutton (lower body) Linebacker Ryan Shazier (lower body) Wide receiver Demarcus Ayers (undisclosed) Center Maurkice Pouncey (undisclosed) Linebacker Keion Adams (shoulder) Wide receiver Sammie Coates (knee, PUP) Linebacker Anthony Chickillo (undisclosed) Wide receiver Martavis Bryant (conditional reinstatement)
I have a feeling that if this was a playoff game, 90% of those guys play.

I hope this is not serious for Burns,Shazier and Mitchell....
Chickillo still out with a hip. This is another guy that can't stay on the field.

WTF
1. Graham Barton, C, Duke 2. Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida 3. Maason Smith, DT, LSU 3. Max Melton, CB, Rutgers 4. Blake Fisher, OT, Notre Dame 6. Tommy Eichenberg, ILB, Ohio State 6. MJ Devonshire, CB, Pittsburgh
He is going to have to learn how to protect himself, that concussion hit in the preseason game was reckless. Hopefully he starts figuring out or learning from AB on how not to get himself injured. Luckily he is young so he can rebound quickly and we have a handful of other good WR's on the roster.
Thank God!
This is a relief....Everytime that a player has a knee injury, I'm afraid it's an torn ACL.
From the looks of that preseason game, JuJu needs to realize these are grown men that he's playing now and he can't go diving in head first. If he stays healthy, I see 50 catches for 650 yards and 5 TDs for him.
