As far as I can tell, this forum and the admin/mods encourage trolls from other teams to stay here. I won't be making any further contributions as a result. I know of at least one other contributor who told me the same thing.

st33lersguy is right and I also agree with DesertSteel.
We can't vote to kick cheatriot troll off the forum but we can stay away, there are other places to find Steeler news and opinion without this crap.

Not in the least. Just saying that all the yammering back and forth amongst members comes from a few political threads. He’s a troll. There’s also other trolls on the board that are Steelers fans. I couldn’t care less about the political threads. I just like to throw the opposite out there to see what the arguments might be and they are pretty damned funny. Kind of trolling in my own way...lol. I’m not trying to make personal attacks though. Maybe don’t react so crazy to his posts. I like probably 99% of the people here. You can ask the admin...I actually requested not to see the political threads because they were so annoying and toxic...lol.

I've been on a guitar forum for many years which had a section for political threads. The mods spent hours and hours of their time deleting, warning and banning people until they finally got rid of political threads entirely. It was also noted that the aggression in the political threads started to carry over in other threads. Since they dumped the political threads everything has been running smoothly and the trolls vanished.

There were a few trolls who posted a few things in the guitar sections, but their main purpose was to cause havoc in the political threads. When the political thread section was shut down they never returned.

IMO I think we should dump the political threads, it's a vicious cycle that only creates more problems. You listen to this crap all day then come here and hear it all over again.
