Despite his on-again, off-again suspensions for an offense that, even if he did commit, has had no discernible effects on his performance, Tom Brady is one of the most respected figures in all of professional sports. He always takes the highest of high roads, is a member of the mega-star athletes golf foursome, and has even made it into the obituaries of his fans. Of course, much of the respect Brady garners stems from his success on the football field: four Super Bowl victories (including three Super Bowl MVPs), two regular season MVP awards, and 11 Pro Bowls. Not too shabby for a sixth round draft pick, and it’s that rise from overlooked prospect to one of the league’s greatest quarterbacks of all time has served as a model for players across the league. Despite turning 39 in August, there’s no sign Brady is slowing down. It must be the avocado ice cream.

Well they were caught and punished by the league twice, and then there were the spygate tapes that Goodell destroyed without looking at so.....
They were never caught cheating.
The league never even said that filming from the sideline was cheating. They said it's against the rules, and they sent a memo around the league asking coaches to stop it.
As for Brady, and deflategate? I'm going to post that he didn't do it, or that he did, because how the hell would I know? But the NFL doesn't know either.

All in the proof....
1. Spygate 2007. Loss of draft pick.
2. 5 players caught using PEDs since spygate. Players suspended. 5 players.
3. Caught lying about players on IR. Misinformation is against the rules and therefore cheating.
4. Deflategate. Player suspended. Staff fired.
5. One more. The illegal formation used by the Pats to score the winning TD against the Ravens. Brady said that they knew exactly what they were doing. Later confirmed to be an illegal play. So, by his own words, Brady cheated on purpose and with full knowledge.
This list can keep getting longer but I'll stop with these obvious ones.
Brady conveniently destroyed his cell phone because he didn't want to hand over evidence that would incriminate him. Basically suspended for tampering and obstruction... then lying about it. It was also comical when Belichick tried to explain it away using science... 'cause he's a genius of everything.
I suspect it's against the rules to play football in a hockey uniform, but few would call it cheating, unless they were Steeler fans of course.

No, the point is do the Patriots cheat more then other teams? Clearly they do not. Players from all across the league, including the Steelers, use PEDs.

No, those are actual counts of cheating. When players get suspended for PEDs, and the team loses a draft pick for a violation, that is getting caught cheating. Lying on the IR report, which Bill has been caught doing more than once, is cheating. There's a reason the IR is there. The ONLY one I can see letting the Pats off on is using an illegal formation, if only because they did it to beat the Ratbirds.
Now I know this maybe, is, over your head, but there are lots of rules that if you brake them, it doesn't mean you cheated.
We'll try again slowly, and by all means take a day or two to think it over. Don't rush yourself. For some this maybe too subtle to grasp.
Cheating is when you tape, review the tape, and use the information you gained, all in the same game. See how that works? Just filming isn't cheating no matter where you film from. Now, you can break the location rule that they put into place after 2006. That's what the Patriots did. But, the commissioner, aka His Royal Highness, specifically said the tapes were not viewed. Get it? There was no cheating charge. Tough for you I know.

Riddle me this then Patsman....The Steelers, without Bell and Bryant, still managed to put 17pts up. At your place. What do you think is going to be the result WITH Bell and Bryant? You won't be able to triple cover AB in that scenario. The defense may still give up 30+, but our offense will put up 50.
