That was an strange season. The Steelers were 6-2, the #1 seed, and then they suffered 5 very odd losses in a row... three in particular:

Bengals: Sweed drops the game-winning TD with seconds remaining. (That was the final straw that broke his psyche.)

Raidahs: Joe Burnett drops a game-clinching INT. A few plays later, the Raidahs score the game-winning TD.

Browns: Arians refuses to run the ball in 100mph winds.

Even despite those five horrible losses, the Steelers still had a legitimate chance to make the playoffs in the final weekend. (But, just like in those three games, it simply didn't go our way.)
