Shouldn't be shocking. No trust with Bryant, Coates hasn't shown consistency.
1. Graham Barton, C, Duke 2. Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida 3. Maason Smith, DT, LSU 3. Max Melton, CB, Rutgers 4. Blake Fisher, OT, Notre Dame 6. Tommy Eichenberg, ILB, Ohio State 6. MJ Devonshire, CB, Pittsburgh
I am fine with this pick.
Juju is talented and plays with heart and could be great opposite Brown.
I never want to go into the playoffs again without Ben having enough weapons.

Still just 20 years old.
1. Graham Barton, C, Duke 2. Ricky Pearsall, WR, Florida 3. Maason Smith, DT, LSU 3. Max Melton, CB, Rutgers 4. Blake Fisher, OT, Notre Dame 6. Tommy Eichenberg, ILB, Ohio State 6. MJ Devonshire, CB, Pittsburgh
Big Ben wanted a red-zone target.
The AFCCG agrees.
Bryant is probably pissed and firing up now and expect a tweet in a bit.
Re-watch the AFCCG to show that our WR core leaves a lot to be desired. It got worse when Bell went down. After AB, we have no legitimate #2. We have a 1 and bunch of 3's and 4's.
Drafting Juju is basically the organization giving Martavis Bryant the kick in the ass he needs. He better get his shit together.
I get that he's a talented player. I just don't see WR as a position of need, even though several analysts thought so in the months leading up to the draft.
AB, Rogers, Coates, Bryant, Heyward-Bey, Hamilton, Ayers, Hunter and now JuJu...we will only carry five on the active roster, and I don't think anyone is an easy cut.
Right on cue.
I'll give Martavis Bryant credit, his stupidity is predictable.
Can't say that I like it. Too early for offense when our defense is so lacking. Not saying we should reach for a guy but Rivers was still there to double up at OLB and the Saints were offering a 3rd this year and 2nd next year to move back in. Would be interesting to know if the Steelers took that call.
Just really not a fan of this pick at all. No judgement on JuJu personally but damn, WR is just not a need right now.
Good job, Bryant. What a dumbass. I really hope he was just busting Coates' balls.

I like JuJu as a player, but I don't feel we needed a WR this early.
This is a great insurance pick. Ben must have weapons for us to win the Superbowl.
Our defense is improving and will be even better this year and we will have several new solid defensive players this year.
I wanted Roku in the first so very happy we added JJSS.
This is a good pick.

2 things.
1. I never said they should have taken a CB instead of him.
2. If the 3rd round pick turns out to be a good starter the value is 2 or better anyway, so wouldn't really be a reach in retrospect.
I would have rather doubled up with Rivers or attempted that trade with the Saints.
