Don't mind this pick. Not in love with it but like it better than taking a CB here that's no where near the value of a late second round pick. Better value with JuJu.

Not saying we should reach for a guy but Rivers was still there to double up at OLB and the Saints were offering a 3rd this year and 2nd next year to move back in. Would be interesting to know if the Steelers took that call.

This is a great insurance pick. Ben must have weapons for us to win the Superbowl.
Our defense is improving and will be even better this year and we will have several new solid defensive players this year.

2 things.
1. I never said they should have taken a CB instead of him.
2. If the 3rd round pick turns out to be a good starter the value is 2 or better anyway, so wouldn't really be a reach in retrospect.
I would have rather doubled up with Rivers or attempted that trade with the Saints.
No CB is going to work when you don't ask them to cover receivers.
Doesn't matter who they have in the secondary, the Lebeau Zone doesn't work against New England.
Unfortunately, he's probably being serious.
I'm fine with the pick. Could be a good slot receiver or number two guy if Marty can't stay clean.
I also would have traded with the Saints. A extra two next year would have gave us a lot to make a move on the future QB next year.
