Good riddance. At least now we don't have to hear about him any more.

How could anyone be so f'n stupid to flush such a blessed life down the toilet the way he did? I guess once a punk always a punk. The only tragedy here is his 4 year old daughter caught up in the middle of this and growing up without knowing a father in her life.

Peter King sums it up for me

Aaron Hernandez: A Waste in Every Sense

Spare no sympathy for Aaron Hernandez, who was blessed with rare ability and promise but left a swath of ruined lives, from his victims and their families to his now-fatherless daughter—and of course, himself

For most people yes but if the person is a piece of shit who takes lives and hurts people then good riddance to them and I hope someone pisses on their grave.

IMO, it's for everyone. Person A's opinions on person B's death doesn't say as much about how Person B viewed life as much as it does about how Person A views the preciousness of life. That's why, IMO every lost life should be mourned, I don't care who it is. And yes, that includes Hitler, OBL, or even Tom Brady. Don't equate that with thinking they deserved to live or deserve to be mourned for who they are. Rather, it's the idea that another human being, regardless of personhood, has died.

The next big news in the case is that after they examine his brain, they will blame concussions for his murder spree.

I didn't think about that but you're right. Then a lawsuit against the NFL.

I mean after all, he only shot somebody before he played in the NFL. It's not like they died. Only after playing in the NFL did he actually murder people. Same with OJ. It's a solid case.

Yup, just waiting for that to happen. The media will have a field day with it and people who are dumb enough, would actually start to believe that playing football would make you a murder.

Honestly I think he did it to get his family through a loop hole. Since his trial was in appeal, technically he isn't guilty of anything yet. So he, or his family in this case can now get the rest of his contract from the Patriots. At least that's the way I understand it. I'm sure @Atlanta_Dan can expound on what I'm saying.

Re: Former Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez Commits Suicide In Prison

    http://www.snopes.com/hernandez-abatement-ab-initio/

Due to an obscure Massachusetts legal doctrine, Aaron Hernandez's death vacates his conviction and entitles his family to $15 million under the terms of his severed NFL contract.
    RATING

    MIXTURE
    WHAT'S TRUE

Under the legal doctrine of abatement ab initio, Aaron Hernandez's conviction will be vacated on the basis of his death during an active appeal.
    WHAT'S FALSE

Hernandez's contract was severed in June 2013 based on his arrest and not his subsequent conviction, and it will not be reinstated by the NFL.

Victims families are already lined up if the money is ever released , before his arrest he had already put money in an account for his daughter in another account for his fiance and in a 3rd account for his HS " friend" who some claim was his boyhood lover ...

just what I have read as for validity I can not say

Good. The only one who deserves money is the daughter and fiancé. The rest of the family can go hang themselves...
