I agree. This is a parent's worst nightmare. I hear stories of this happening all the time and as a parent myself, I just can't imagine how a parent can let a 3 year old out of their sight. This is a senseless tragedy that could've easily been avoided.

Doesn't matter why she was out there.This is the worst thing that can EVER happen to a person, IMHO. I just hope the Heap family can pull together to get thru this tragedy. They will never get over it, but maybe they can find peace with it someday. Praying they can.

It was a kick in the nutts when I saw this today. It's easier than people think. Dad thinks child is with mom, mom thinks child is with dad. My heart goes out to the Heap family... I couldn't imagine having to live with this myself.
