    Polain might be slightly biased.

I'm apparently not aware of something. Explain.

My gut feeling is the Steelers will keep Jones and Mush and maybe take a FA. I think they draft Ben's replacement in 2018 or 2019, even if Ben calls it quits after this season.

I think he said the same thing about Landry Jones.... Hmmm, not sure that's a plus.

“I don’t think anybody in this group is going to be able to step in right away and lead the team, but if you ask me, who’s the guy who’s most ready, and who’s the guy who’s had the most winning experience, it would be Landry Jones,” Polian said.

I would not mind Hoyer or Fitzpatrick as back-ups

    Hoyer is never coming here.

    1. Steelers already let him get away. That's not going to give him the warm and fuzzies.
    2. Someone, maybe even Chicago, will give him the chance to start or at least compete for the job. At his age, he comes here - he is admitting his career is basically over.

Fitapatrick is done. Whatever magic fueled his mini run as a competent NFL QB evaporated last season.

Seems like Jones will probably be re-signed.

Also doubt they'll draft a QB this year. May hold out until 2018.
