AFC CHAMPIONSHIP Steelers @ Patriots (who would've thunk it?!?)

The Steelers have an impressive record when yours truly begins the thread (11-2 including postseason). Once again I am here early. Let's give the Patriots a nice sendoff. I like the match-up. The Steelers lost the first game by 11 points. (27-16) Notice, the Boz missed 2 fgs in that game. Landry Jones started in place of Ben. Gronkowski was playing and the only reason Bell was controlled was because of Jammie Collins.

Round 2 will be better. No Jammie Collins (He is a Brown for some reason). No Gronk (and the defense actually resembles a defense.) Ben is playing instead of Landry.

    My Prediction:
    Steelers 38-Patriots 21

    B. Roethlisberger (4 Td passes 339 pass yards)
    A. Brown (2 tds. 167 receiving yards)
    L. Bell (rush td. 145 rush yards. 29 carries. 40 receiving yards)
(Steelers defense will get 4 sacks)
    T. Brady (2 pass tds, 2 ints.)

Ben needs to play the best two games of his life over the next three weeks. He has the advantage of a better OL and the best RB and WR in the game. If he protects the ball and doesn't get cute like Todd, then we have a good chance to outscore anybody.

Hey, did anyone tell you the Steelers are supposed to lose this game?

Lets cause some long overdue heartache in Boston today. Go Steelers.

Thank you. I think we'll be playing the Raiders in next year's AFCC game.

Thanks buddy. I hope your team has better luck next year. Losing your star QB just before the playoffs is about as bad as it gets.

The road team isn't doing very well in the first game of the day.

The greatest QB ever is shut out in the first half.....with Jordy Nelson playing and playing pretty well. Packers defense is lost out there.

Not looking good for the Packers on the road. Atlanta getting every bounce so far.

Let's hope the road team does a little better in the late game.....

Green Bay's destruction today solidifies my worry and concern about the Steelers seizing opportunities when they have to. Especially on the road. If they slip up even once, they're finished.

Mason Crosby missing a Field Goal, then that Packer FB fumbled. It was curtains for the Packers.

The Steelers must take advantage of their opportunities when they get them. They may not get it again, and then an avalanche will happen.
