Interesting sidenote to #HereWeGo . . .
So, this morning in church service, as we were ending, our pastor started ragging on the Steelers (playfully, there's a lot of give and take in our church over football). So, my wife, the music director, turns her microphone back on, and from the pulpit, says, "Ahem, Pastor? I have a new song to teach you."
Pastor answers, "Well, go ahead then."
"Here we go!" she begins, sounding out the beats and all, "Here we go!" she continues, "Here we go, Steelers, here we go!"
And at that point, I join my wife, shouting from the sound booth, "PITTSBURGH GOING TO THE SUPERBOWL!"
Everyone laughs, we close in prayer. Put on the bumper music, and then I craftly slip in the Here We Go! song and turn it up a bit more. Of course, it's pumping through the sanctuary, the foyer, the bathrooms, the nursery, everywhere there's a speaker. The last time something like that happened? Opening game, and we thumped the Redskins, which just happened to be my pastor's team.

I am very nervous about this game. I just hope it isn't as exciting as the Packers/Cowboys game was; I don't think I can take another one like that (and we've had several lately).
Packers win a wild one in Dallas. Steelers weren't even playing and my heart was pounding.
Not a good game to watch in preparation for this one.
