I like you thinking lol. Im nervous as hellllllll.
For some reason I feel like belichick is gonna stonewall leveon bell. He always seems to take your number 1 threat away. And it will turn into a shoot out.

Daniel Jeremiah has the Steelers taking TE OJ Howard in R1. I do like how this guy thinks.

wow. Green didnt even practice today due to illness. does anyone know if that means he cant move up in the concussion protocol? jesus, i dont fuck with head injuries, by all means if somethings wrong upstairs, take a break. but if he just has the flu or something, id be a little pissed if he didnt man up and suit up today
I wonder if we have grounds for a grievance against the Chargers for not disclosing these head issues.
I really like that guy. He stood out like a soar thumb in that national championship game.

Injury roundup: Steelers TE Green, LB Harrison didn't practice

A couple of key players didn't practice for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.
Tight end Ladarius Green and linebacker James Harrison were missing. Green remains in concussion protocol, but sat out due to illness. Harrison is dealing with shoulder and triceps injuries.
The flu bug has struck the Steelers locker room, but coach Mike Tomlin says it won't affect their preparation.
"We're not making excuses," Tomlin said, according to ESPN. "There won't be. We'll be there, we'll be ready to play, this is just part of normal things that happen over the course of a season."

Star running back Le'Veon Bell also was missing at practice, but it was due to personal reasons, the team announced. When asked by NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala if Bell's absence would affect whether he would play Sunday against the Patriots, cTomlin said "not at all."
Along with Green, kicker Chris Boswell, center B.J. Finney, wideout Darrius Heyward-Bey, and backup quarterback Zach Mettenberger were all listed on the injury report as full participants with illnesses.
Ive been praying that Green get in the line up this week. We need all the weapoms we have right now!
And he is a miss match with his size and speed. Compliments Brown perfectly , so no more double teams
The last part is the contact portion and that's what he didn't pass last week. I think he has to make it through the contact portion of practice with no setbacks. I don't think it is a set number of practices...I could be wrong. I thought I read that there were 4 stages: Rest and Recovery; Light Aerobics; Football Activities non contact ; Football Activities Contact. I think that's how it goes.
It would be a big boost if he was able to go. I'm not counting on it so it would be icing on the cake.
A vertical threat would be a huge help to open up space everywhere else on the field. Even if they take away the deep ball, it will pull the safeties further down the field and create space.
If Green would somehow be able to go, that would also threaten the seams and provide another deep threat to split the safeties or beat man if they have a LB on him.
We won't know who's going to trot out onto the field until game time, but the full compliment of weapons would be best.
