I know I am here super early, but I am so excited. Christmas day, Heinz Field, AFC North Title at stake, playoff berth at stake. It doesn't get any bigger than this. Here we go!

The only guy listed as out is Shamarko Thomas, every one else is questionable to doubtful.
This is it. No more bullshit. Whoever loses this game is fucked. The AFC North is not going to send a second team to the AFC playoffs this year.
Its very simple. If the Steelers win, they win the AFC North.
If the Steelers cannot beat the Ravens in a meaningful game and end up missing the postseason next week, then they don't deserve to be there. You gotta win these games. Here and now.
Must wine. Can no lose.
In days like these, I am reminded of the great line from Home Alone 4 when the butler said, "one can never go wrong with low expectations."
Here is my actual prediction: Steelers will jump out to a 14-0 lead. 2 TD passes from Ben to Brown. Flacco will be sacked a couple of times in the first. At the half, it will be 17-7 steelers. Then in the 3rd it will be 20-14 when Roethlisberger throws a game changing interception. In the 4th, with 4 minutes to go flacco TD pass to Pitta. Steelers drive for a GW FG attempt with 5 seconds left. BLOCKED. Basically, this game will be a re-worked version of last year's Scobbee game.
The worst thing with Green being out is that the Ravens only LB that could cover a TE is CJ Mosely. And he has the speed and athleticism to cover Jesse James easily. But if we would have had Green this game, CJ would have had to try and stay with him, and with a two TE set with James...the Ravens would have had no one that could cover him. And Grimble....he is even less athletic then James is speed wise.
Inactives:
No. 14 - WR Sammie Coates
No. 18 - QB Zach Mettenberger
No. 24 - CB Justin Gilbert
No. 69 - T Brian Mihalik
No. 89 - TE Ladarius Green
No. 91 - DE Stephon Tuitt
No. 95 - LB Jarvis Jones
Green and Tuitt being out really sucks.
We get DeAngelo back, though. Run him and line up Bell at receiver.
These games are impossible to predict. Charlie batch beat the Ravens and Ryan Mallet beat the Steelers.
That said. I wouldn't be surprised if this went into OT. It's Christmas with the best rivalry in the NFL.
enjoy it.
Alright...those color rush uniforms for the Steelers are pretty sweet.

I have no doubt that some of Baltimore's Old time Vets, like Suggs will get the younger guys pumped up early on. But, barring any mistakes by us early on...I think we just wear them down.
Pittsburgh- 27
Ravens- 13
Is Jarvis Jones a healthy scratch or did I miss something?

All i know is if we lose I will not watch us against the browns even if we back our way into the playoffs...this team has had a rep of beating themselves and Im leaning that way...where is our signature win here late in the season???

maybe this could be the day??
With DHB back, I bet with his speed we will send him out a lot on deep routes, not only to test the Ravens weakened secondary, but to also be a decoy to open things up for the others. Could be a big help today.
everyone on NFL Network just picked Ravens. now im worried.
any unbiased picks?
It's weird not seeing the playing surface look like crap in late December.

I didn't mean it from a racial point. More of a Hip-Hop point. The Ravens are more in the Hip[Hop culture. Like a lot of these analysts who were players not long ago. I have seen this on many other NFL shows and on websites. They are not taking a look at all at the numbers, or the Match-ups. Just at the recent history. Not taking into account the rash of Injuries to KEY players as compared to them.
Let's go Steelers!!!!
Angel Baby Faith our one and only 1/11/00 - 9/9/16 We love you.
here we go with mistakes
Good stop, D.

Yeah we stopped them. And now, all I want is to NOT have to Punt down there. We need to at least flip the field back. Place the Ravens on a 80 + yard field...then go after him.
Lets get Brown involved early here

1) Ravens won the last four games against Pittsburgh. Last meeting wasn't that close.
2) Harbaugh has developed a recent habit of pulling rabbits out of the hat recently against Pittsburgh and outcoaching Tomlin (beating them with Ryan Mallet last year).
3) Baltimore has a pretty good Defense that Ben recently has had a hard time solving.
4) Steelers tendency to disappoint/underwhelm when the spotlight is cast on them. They were 4-5 at one point this year. They've grown wise to our antics.
It's not that farfetched to see them picking the Ravens in a landslide.
If anything, I'm more worried for the Steelers than I am for the Ravens in this game. Despite the winning streak, I'm not getting too hyped, because know this team has a tendency to crash and burn at the worst possible times.
We'll see who comes out on top.
cmon ben dont get your receivers killed
My boy Bell is taking this game seriously!!!
**** yeah! Lets go! So Fn pumped 😁😁😁
